Dr. Anna Marie Messina graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She continued her studies at the National University of Health Sciences where she earned a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) Degree as well as a second Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology. She became certified in Acupuncture/Meridian Therapy and attained a Fellowship in Acupuncture from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture shortly after graduating. Through her studies she has also become a Reiki Master/Teacher. She went on to earn a master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice from the National University of Health Sciences in 2011. She has been extensively studying Craniosacral therapy since 2014, with emphasis on brain work, including injury, dementia and stress, and chronic depletion. She is Techniques Certified in craniosacral therapy and is currently studying for her Diplomate Certification. Additionally, she is working towards second master’s degree in the field of Anatomy & Physiology through the New York Chiropractic College.
Dr. Anna Marie has developed a wonderful balance of care integrating the natural approaches and therapies she continues to study in order to achieve the best outcomes for the most optimal health possible. She strives to treat the whole person and tailors her care to each individual patient and their needs. She truly has a passion for what she does!
